Gastroesophageal reflux is a condition that is highly prevalent and according to U.S. statistics, the disease affects 60 million people at least once a month. This occurs when the gastric juices of the stomach moves up into the esophagus. It can occur at any time of day and becomes a disease when it causes significant symptoms or causes damage to the lining of the esophagus. The most common symptom is the heartburn, a feeling that the stomach contents go up to the chest. Other symptoms of GERD include chest pain, difficulty swallowing, frequent belching, hoarseness, coughing or choking at night, bad breath, hoarseness and a bitter taste. Nocturnal reflux symptoms include: coughing, choking, hoarseness, breathing problems and sleep disturbances. Other risk factors include obesity, alcohol consumption, pregnancy, smoking and eating foods such as citrus juices, coffee, fried or spicy foods and chocolate. Certain medications may also predispose to reflux.

The diagnosis of this disease is mainly reflected with the history of the patient. Sometimes, endoscopy and esophageal pH tests help in this regard. What Is Skype | I Want To Learn Turkish. What Would Be The Best Way Without A Classroom?

I would like to learn Turkish. I'm not in college so that's not really an option and it would be hard to find any sort of classes near me, because it's not the most popular language people are looking to learn. I have Rosetta Stone but I've read reviews and the effectiveness of actually learning the language seems to be questionable. I talk with a few Turkish people via msn and skype so I suppose they could potentially help me. I'd just like a solid self-teaching program. Thank you.

This is supposed to be the best Turkish teaching course in Turkey.Try their distance Turkish link.I don't think it's free , but I do know that the foreign teachers in Turkey learn Turkish via Tmer.http://www.tomer.ankara.edu.tr/english/

Get into the vortex. ahahhaha!

You can find more people and talk to them via msn or skype like you are doing now. so you can practice in real time.

As a Turk I often see people talk about websites they use to learn Turkish.

http://www.turkishclass.com/ - This one seems pretty good. It has an active community of people who are learning Turkish or are native speakers. Also by the looks of it it has a wide range of resources. It really eliminates the need for me to give you advice now, since it is a massive portal full of advice. I suggest you join in right now. They're very friendly and you can ask them anything.

more:

http://totally-turkish.com/ - Made by a native English speaker

http://www.livemocha.com/learn-turkish/learn-turkish - Similar to Rosetta (this site is said to be a reputable one, but I have no experience with it)

http://www.english2turkish.com/learn-turkish.html - Lots of bookmarks

There are a lot of results when you search "learn turkish" on Google but many of them look very amateurish so I just pasted here the most legit looking ones.

Check Turkish class first.

Acupuncture London

Everyone responds differently to treatment, but you can expect to see significant improvements within the first five sessions. You may even see dramatic changes after just two or three sessions.

If your condition is long standing it may take a little longer. The aim is for lasting benefit, not just short term improvements.

Initially, you will need to come once a week, with each treatment building on the previous session.

Acupuncture London

Once your condition has begun to improve the treatments can be spaced out to allow your body's own healing mechanisms to take over. This phase will prevent your symptoms from returning and will ensure a continued improvement.

Soon you will reach the stage where you only need to come a few times a year as a preventative measure. You can continue to use acupuncture in this way to ensure that you maintain optimum health in body and mind.

You will experience no more than a momentary dull ache, followed by a pleasant tingling sensation. Both during and after treatment most people describe a feeling of relaxation and invigoration.

Natural Healing | Do The Benefits Of Chiropractic Treatment Outweigh The Risks?

Any form of medical treatment comes with risks. This is why doctors explain what the procedure/treatment is and then informs the patient on any risks associated with that procedure/treatment. Chiropractic care is no different. Patients need not solely rely on the physician's information and statistics. Independent research is necessary for patients to fully understand the risks and benefits involved, so they can make a well-educated decision on whether this method of treatment is right for the them and their healthcare needs.

A large study that was performed in the U.S. And Canada found that there was no evidence to support an increase in strokes or spinal cord injuries due to chiropractic adjustments. There are, however, some risks that patients and future patients should be aware of.

Although very rare (one to three patients out of 1 million), patients can suffer from a stroke and death occurs in about 1 in every 1.5 million patients. This is extremely low compared to complications and death that occur during cervical spine surgery. The typical side effects or complications associated with chiropractic treatment are aches/pains/soreness at the manipulation site, muscle spasms a few days after the adjustment, headaches, and fatigue. Approximately 35% to 55% of patients experience soreness/pain and stiffness just after an adjustment. Very rarely, especially if the patient does not disclose all of their medical history or they use an unskilled/inexperienced/unlicensed chiropractor, patients can suffer from broken bones due to a brittle bone disorder such as osteoporosis.

With spinal surgery there is a 3%-4% overall chance of experiencing some form of complication, just under a 1% chance of partial or total paralysis, 2% chance for infection, 1 in 200K chance of having anesthesia complications, blood clots (the percentage varies with each person and their medical history, family history, and current physical condition), and the most common complication is nerve damage which the percentage varies between published medical journals.

As you can see, the risk is much higher with surgery than with chiropractic care. There is also no need for multiple medications to control pain; whereas with surgery, narcotic pain medication, antibiotics, and possibly a muscle relaxer and/or steroids are necessary to control pain/swelling and relax the muscles to aid in the healing process. Chiropractic care is non-evasive, much more cost-effective, and doesn't require a plethora of medication.

Chiropractic adjustments is a fairly simple procedure. The chiropractor will manually adjust/realign the spine and joints/soft tissue. They believe that physical conditions and symptoms are a byproduct of misaligned joints/spine. Due to the misalignment, nerve impulses are disrupted, which cause problems for just about every system and organ in your body. Once the spine/joints are aligned, the nerves will function properly. By unblocking the nerve impulses, the body can run like a well oiled machine. Only then can the body begin the natural healing process.

It is vital that you seek out only licensed, highly skilled and experienced chiropractors. Using one that is not qualified or experienced can lead to devastating and possibly life long/life threatening results such as paralysis, rheumatoid arthritis, unstable joints, pain, or even death. Always check with your primary care physician before seeing a chiropractor. Ask your doctor if they can refer you to one he/she knows and trusts. If not, should be able to point you in the right direction.

As with any medical treatment there are health risks. You and your doctor should discuss the pros and cons of chiropractic care. If this method of treatment is right for you, don't settle for a sub-par chiropractor. You have one body, one life, a choice. By making the right choice, you will live a healthier and happier life.
