Madden went mud wrestling and lost!

Tim's son Madden went mud wrestling tonight and lost. Actually, those mud wrestling places used pudding and so did Madden. He's usually so clean and neat, but this picture shows a different side of the little boy. I'm sure he's very proud of himself.

PayBox.me - Scam or Opportunity?

You may or may not have heard of a new site called PayBox.me and seen people trying to get sign ups and referrals to open up an account on the site. I have recently found this service and have some opinions to share about it.

Obviously, it's a start up company and pretends to be the next PayPal type service of money transfer among people and businesses. Everybody should know about PayPal. It's part of eBay and is very diversified in financial services. It's easy to use, very secure, efficient and free in most cases to the occasional user. When PayPal started up, they were giving a $5.00 referral bonus to new users. I tried and tried to get people to sign up and did manage to get a few referral bonuses, but not nearly enough because people just didn't understand how wonderful the system was and would become. I was selling a lot of items on eBay and PayPal payments was the best thing that ever came along. I got my money right away (and maybe a referral fee as well) and could complete the sale fast. I didn't have to wait for a check or money order to arrive and it was just so much simpler. Finally, I began to only sell items using PayPal and now I only buy items using PayPal.

Like I said, PayBox.me is a start up company and they are giving new users $25 to sign up and $10 for each person referred. They make it easy to share the referral link and you can get additional bonuses for competing daily and weekly surveys. They don't ask for personal financial information and don't really ask a lot except that you promote their service. You can easily transfer your PayBox.me dollars between other members just like with PayPal, however, there is one major catch.
You can't at this time turn these funds into cash or merchandise. Now that may be a problem for some people, but really shouldn't be. In the future, when the company is fully off the ground and funded, I would imagine that these PayBox.me dollars will have a monetary value and there's talk of a PayBox.me debit card. Anyway, all you have invested is your time and no money, so if these "dollars" become valuable, you will be ahead of the game. If not, you have only lost your time, but maybe have had some fun.

I think they are signing up merchants or trying to and right now there is no customer service available. There is only tech support for website and transaction type problems. So, is it a scam or an opportunity? That remains to be seen. If they get the support and investors to become the next PayPal then it will be an excellent opportunity for those who have signed up early and gotten these bonuses and referral fees. I'm sure we could all use a few extra bucks in our pockets these days.

Here is my referral link should you wish to sign up now: http://www.paybox.me/r/billntacoma

Thanks for the opportunity to share my thoughts with you.
