How do Skype Credits work...I'm going on vacation soon and the Cell Phone charges are ridiculous out of the country...If I buy Skype credits will the home phone of a person I call be charged? Examples would be appreciated!
Skype credits are in money, if you are in the USA the credits are in US dollars as in $5.29 . Calls to USA phone numbers are about 2 cents a minute. In Europe the unit is euros and the charges are converted so the actual cost is the same. In the USA, calling a home phone will not cost the called person anything. Calling a USA cell phone, will cost the cell phone 'minutes' unless the phone has unlimited service.
