I have one of those deals, where you pay as you go and I get constantly disconnected and charged for every re-dial, because the call gets dropped after 6 seconds...Skype charges me an extra 1-2 bucks each month for calls I cannot make... Does anybody have an idea how to avoid that?
Yes, skype does that on purpose.My calls within the US never get interrupted, but those to overseas all the time. Users think it's only a few cents each time, so it does not matter... but they have millions of users... I'm sure it's a business practice that pays very well for them.They even offered to reimburse me for it - but then that never happened either...Just use IM instead, it's free...
